Proclamation of UNiverso Gaurang

It’s official, our UNiverso Gaurang has been proclaimed!
The UN Funken are grateful to Mayor Katja Dörner, the City of Bonn and BonnExpat for making his proclamation part of such a wonderful celebration of carnival.
UNiverso Gaurang is a self declared “Indian Bonner” who will spread the message of the SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities during his reign, as everyone deserves to have the same opportunities and live in peace, no matter who they are.

Thank you to Prinz Oliver I. und Bonna Maike I. from Festausschuss Bonner Karneval, Festausschuss Godesberger Karneval., Washer Princess Lea I. of Altes Beueler Damenkomitee , LiKüRa Ann-Celine I. from LiKüRa Festausschuss , our partners in carnival this session ASA Bonn and everyone who organized and attended this fun event celebrating carnival.

Theme: “Kunterbund und Tolerant, su senn mir he im Jeckenland”

When: Monday, March 3, 2025 at 12:00.
Where: Somewhere around Bonn West Tram Station. We are Number 12,06 – Heinrich-Böll-Ring between Ellerstr and Ennemoserstr. The Number will be painted on the street.
Planned parade route:
Thomas-Mann-Straße, Münsterstraße, In der Sürst, Münsterplatz, Remigiusstraße, Marktbrücke, Markt, Sternstraße, Friedensplatz, Friedrichstraße, Bonngasse, Kölnstraße, Heerstraße, Wolfstraße, Breite Straße, Maxstraße, Vorgebirgsstraße, Adolfstraße, Dorotheenstraße

Carnival city bus tour

UNiverso Gaurang I. and his team will take part in the carnival city tour of the Bonn Information.

When: Sunday, February 16, 2025 11:11 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Language: German
Meeting point/start: City Tour stop, corner of Budapester Strasse/Sternstrasse, 53113 Bonn
End of the tour: Old Town Hall, market
Duration: around 2.5 hours
Carnival clothing is desired!

Carnival with culture – that fits! Discover the most beautiful sides of Bonn on our carnival city tour in the red double-decker bus in cooperation with the various carnival festival committees and meet the royals from the various city districts at prominent locations. Only with us do you have the unique opportunity to get an exclusive photo with various Bonn royals during an extraordinary city tour with a carnival focus.
We will take you to the most important sights in the city, tell you anecdotes about carnival traditions and sing carnival classics with you, accompanied by live musicians. In between there are photos with the royals – and if you like, a glass of sparkling wine. As a souvenir of the tour, all participants will receive a small souvenir in the form of a carnival festival badge.
